Summer Kids Camp

City Clay’s Summer Kids Camp schedule is now available.  And, new this year, there are special discounts for enrollment of multiple siblings or enrollment of one child in more than one class.

SurfaceDecoratingBowlExplore your creative side with clay.  Visit City Clay on Sunday afternoon (1:00 – 4:00 pm), March 29, and get your hands on some clay.  Try the potter’s wheel and hand-building.  Watch demonstrations and tour the studio.

This is a great time to sign up for spring classes for adults and children and to enroll kids in summer camps and classes.

Shop for pots, see new work by Judd Jarvis and other potters.

Enjoy refreshments and enter a drawing for handmade pottery.

Altering Thrown Forms, April 25-26 (Saturday & Sunday), 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, $220.

The workshop will focus on taking thrown components and making them into new forms.  Projects may include making oval and squared shapes, adding sections to thrown bases, and using a variety of techniques to change the surface quality of newly-thrown pieces.  Participants should know how to center and pull up a cylinder.  Come prepared to take home leather-hard work.
